Management 3.0 Agile Leadership Practices with Jurgen Appelo
Monday, 28 May 2012 at 9:00 AM - Tuesday, 29 May 2012 at 5:00 PM (EDT)
Agile management is an often overlooked part of Agile adoption. There are heaps of information available for Agile developers, testers, and project managers adopting these new practices, but very little for development managers and team leaders. However, when organizations adopt agile software development, it's not only developers, testers, and project managers who need to learn new practices. Development managers and team leaders must also learn a new approach to leading and managing agile organizations.
Management 3.0 is a course to inspire team leaders, development managers, and IT directors, who face the adoption of Agile software development in their organizations, by providing guidance and practices, and by applying complexity thinking to the craft, art, and science of Agile management.
This course is for leaders and managers who want to become agile, and developers/testers/project managers who want to become great team leaders or line managers. (No practical experience with Agile methods is necessary, though some familiarity with Agile principles and practices is useful.)
Join the creator of the course (and author of the book), Jurgen Appelo for two full days of practical advice on navigating management issues in an agile world. Full details can be found at LeanIntuit.
